Come join us this Saturday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. for our complimentary wine tasting. We’re offering two intriguing whites, one new inexpen-sive Cotes du Rhone, and one beautiful red Burgundy. Details about these wines follow.
Sylvie Esmonin Bourgogne Aligoté 2009: this is not Chardonnay, rather the lesser white grape from Burgundy, yet when properly cultivated and kept to low yields, this can be a very interesting wine…and for a lot less than the majority of white Burgundy.
Chapoutier Crozes-Hermitage Blanc 2010: a white Rhone, another unique white as an alternative to the norm. So, consider this when you want a lovely wine instead of a Chardonnay.
Vidal Fleury Cotes de Rhone 2010: one of the most popular inexpensive wines in the store; this is the new vintage and a lot of folks have been asking is it as good as 2009, so we are including this gem.
Bouchard Savigny les Beaune 2009: the ’09s will not shut down: they continue to remain open and very easy to drink; a beautiful red Burgundy for the weekend.
I hope to see you,
